Happy Aniversary / Feliz Aniversario

April is a month with a special meaning. A year ago I left a lot of things behind, my country, my family, my friends, my comfort zone. Since I decided to take this important step in my life I have called this an ADVENTURE and has been quite like that.

Ever since I arrived to Pittsburgh great things have happened. I've been through mental, physical and emotional changes, all of them in a positive way and this has helped me to learn about myself.

This year not only gave me new experiences, has also given me new friends, a new family and a new home.

Once I heard "Time flies when you're having fun". And this hasn't been the exception. I've been enjoying every moment since day one. The language I have learned, the places I've been, people I've met, the city where I live, everything of this ADVENTURE has been WONDERFUL.

Although there have been tough times where I wanted to leave I learned from those experiences. That's why I decided to continue this ADVENTURE for a little longer.

I want to share with you all those moments that now I have in my heart and in my mind.

Abril es un mes con un significado especial. Hace un año dejé muchas cosas atrás, mi país, mi familia, mis amigos, mi zona de confort. Desde que decidí dar este paso importante en mi vida he llamado esto una AVENTURA y ha sido exactamente así.

Desde el momento en  que llegué a Pittsburgh muchas cosas han sucedido. He pasado por cambios mentales, físicos y emocionales, todos de una manera positiva y esto me ha ayudado a aprender sobre mí misma. Este año no sólo me ha dado nuevas experiencias, me ha dado también a nuevos amigos, una nueva familia y un nuevo hogar.

Una vez scuché "El tiempo vuela cuando te diviertes". Y esto no ha sido la excepción. He estado disfrutando cada momento desde el primer día. El idioma que he aprendido, los lugares en que he estado, la gente que he conocido, la ciudad donde vivo, todo sobre esta AVENTURA ha sido MARAVILLOSO.

Aunque ha habido momentos difíciles en los que quise renunciar pude aprender de esas experiencias. Es por eso que decidí continuar con esta AVENTURA por un poco más.

Ahora quiero compartir contigo todos los momentos que ahora tengo en mi corazón y en mi mente.
